Was born in 1960.

First the photography was just a hobby. 20 years ago, in 1986, I started as a professional photographer.

First personal exhibition was in Saint-Petersburg in 1991. In 1992 - 1993 was invited to take a part in a photo festival in Narvik, Norway, during a Winter Festival Week. Some black white photos were purchased by the Norwegian Railway, one of the biggest companies of Norway.

Since 1992 I was an organizer and participant of photo-exhibitions in Russia, Austria, Australia, Norway, Denmark, Germany. Many photos are now in private photo collections in many countries. Won two bronze medals on the photo competition in Copenhagen, Denmark, 1995.

Now I am a free-lance photographer and journalist. Published in Russian and foreign magazines and newspapers, information agencies. Took part in production of some documentary films and CDROM encyclopedias.
