| Description: |
Devonport Royal women's team guarding Bath Uni in the midst of a tournament. Beneath the surface, the sport itself is heavily competitive and violent, the athletes pre-wedgie themselves to prevent their opponents from doing it to them, or using their costume as a weapon of restraint. As the referee is based above water, scratching and ill behaviour often goes on under the surface, especially with the competitive girls’ teams. Such a passionate sport, which is certainly not for the faint hearted! |
